The sensor brush equipped with 2 super bright LEDs that illuminates the sensor while in operation. Super Charged Fibers are constructed from specific polyamides that have inherent electrostatic charge build-up capabilities. The DC rotary engine generates an optimal centrifugal force that enables speedy dust rejection while increasing the charge enhancement of the fibers.
Quasar® Plus Sensor Loupe 7x is an improvement to Quasar® Sensor Loupe 7x. Satellite Imaging Technology makes Quasar® Sensor Loupe®: a tool that can be used to identify the smallest spots with the highest resolution. Our Sensor Loupe has six super bright LEDs with vari-angled orientation to help create a 3D image of dust particles. The Quasar® Plus Sensor Loupe® 7X utilizes high quality Extra-low Disperson K9 optical glass.
Sensor Clean™ has many characteristics that make it an excellent choice for cleaning your sensor. While it is best used on water based stains and light dust contamination, it also provides excellent dust repellent properties and anti-fogging capabilities. Sensor Clean™ works best with VisibleDust MXD-100 Green Series Swabs.

Silicon-RX is a unique compound used in construction of Zeeion® blower to produce an anti static property. This advanced feature reduces the dust re-attachment to the surface by neutralizing the surface static charges. One-Way Valve at front end of the Zeeion® prevents dust intake during expansion from nozzle. Therefore, the intake of the air occurs from the back end far from contamination source. Filters are placed at both ends to prevent intake dust from environment.
FlexoDome™ acts as a fence against the sensor contact and blower nozzle allowing the operator to invert the camera's sensor downward without the fear of entering the chamber area damaging the sensor. This method facilitates the removal of heavier particles based on gravity action. Directional blast maximizes the efficiency of traditional blower in removing dust particles without creating the adverse side effects.
Since the sensor of digital camera is buried deep inside the chamber wall and covered with a dark surface to prevent lights from bouncing off, therefore this is a very difficult task for operator to position the swab exactly along the sensor edges, avoiding contamination by accidental contact with chamber walls. A better grip on swab handle results for a more uniform pressure and movement producing streak free cleaning.
Visibledust sensor cleaning solutions and swabs are calibrated to work together to produce optimal and safe results. Please DO NOT USE alternative solutions with our swab. A simple grain of quartz which is found in cheaper solutions are enough to produce an expensive scratch on the low pass filter. Our solutions are manufactured to the highest standard of quality that is practiced in pharmaceutical industries.
Visibledust solutions are calibrated for NORMAL evaporative rates:
to keep the swab moist at all time to reduce the risk of scratch
to increase the cleaning power, less swabbing more economical
to reduce friction by being moist all time during swabbing
The potential risk of FAST evaporative solutions used as sensor cleaning are the following:
an increase in the risk of damage and stress to sensor coating by using premature dry swab
a great reduction in cleaning power by shortening the contact time between contaminants and solution due to the increased evaporation rate of the solution
increase in friction by using a premature drying swab, resulting in static charge build up leading to an even greater dust accumulation on the sensor
Our cleaning liquids are intended to be placed on the swab first, so the concern for liquid seeping through the sensor is not valid or accurate. On the other hand, the disadvantages of a generic brand or FAST evaporative liquid used for sensor cleaning may in fact may casue damage to the sensor by requiring repeat swabbing and is not recommended.
Avoid bringing Arctic Butterfly fibers in contact with Chamber area. In case contaminations please refer to our instruction “How to clean smear”.
