Wait to allow for even saturation of the swab (can be calibrated from a few seconds to 30 seconds depending on environmental conditions). Do not allow the swab to dry out.
Wipe across the sensor with gentle pressure. Discard the swab.
Allow the sensor to dry completely.
If any streaks appears due to Smear Away™, reduce over-saturation of the swab by using less liquid, allow more evaporation time or simply use Vdust Plus™ with a new swab to remove water streaks.
If stain is removed, STOP
Otherwise switch liquid, use a new swab proceed with cleaning.
If any streaks appears due to Smear Away™, simply use Vdust Plus™ with a new swab to remove water streaks.
Proceed with checking the sensor with Quasar® Plus Sensor Loupe®.
Repeat if necessary.
Highly recommend using the Arctic Butterfly® for a complete sensor cleaning.
Release the camera shutter.
Cautionary Note
Do not add two liquids on the same swab.
Use each liquid with seperate swab.
Always swab in the same direction.
How to use swabs
Discard swab wrapping.
Suggest blowing off with bulb blower to remove any fibers that may have shed in transport.
Apply cleaning liquid evenly across edge, taking precaution not to oversaturate the swab.
Insert swab width wise to the width of the sensor. Rotate once inside chamber.
Contact sensor so that swab width is edge to edge of the height of sensor.
Wipe gently, firmly across width of sensor, edge to edge.
Lift off sensor, rotate swab width to width of sensor and remove.
